One challenge in all our lives is to find the time, energy and attitude to do what’s important, at the right time, and make an impact.
Why?
Because we’re all busy. Extremely busy. If you have kids, work responsibility, participate in community or church organizations you know what I’m talking about. And, that doesn’t include hobbies, personal development and the things that really matter.
Learning anything new, like how to trade the stock and options market, is like taking night-school for many working professionals. You’re adding one new thing into an already busy life.
So, take it one step at a time.
Start by building a routine. A daily routine. A weekly routine. A routine for how you trade.
Routines for everything. Believe me, it works.
And, don’t try to do too much.
How many strategies are you trying to execute?
10?
12?
15?
And how many are you proficient at?
Until you know how to execute 2–5 basic strategies like buying stock, shorting stock a covered call and a long call or long put, maybe you should stick to those.
I love advanced strategies, and for many traders, that’s what is needed.
But, you need to take your development 1 step at a time.
Here are 3 areas to perfect before anything else:
- Build a Daily Routine
- Learn to Journal
- Learn your Trading Tools
If you need training on how to do so, you can always start with the self-paced course the 7-STEP GUIDE TO TRADING
It’s a free course, designed for new traders.
Make it a successful day!
