Is there a way to add a few lines to the journal to separate the ETF’s and stock positions? After about 40 paper trades, at what point would should you go live in your trading? We answer all of these questions, and even one from Quora. Enjoy!

March 13, 2019 at 10:44 PMThere were a number of questions about when to start live trading. My question is when to start a mentorship–before or after I start live trading?
Tim Justice
March 18, 2019 at 4:08 PMGreat question Ellen! It all depends on the person. The best thing you can do is talk to someone who is a mentor and get direction on this.
If you need a jolt, and the mentorship to get you going, then start it right away. But, if you’d prefer to use a mentorship to help you build more complexity and expertise in your trading, then maybe you should wait til you have some more experience.
There isn’t a one size fits all answer to this one, but we’ll discuss it on a podcast soon.
